DEPARTMENT OF TECHNOLOGY TEACHER EDUCATION
Introduction
Department of Technology Teacher Education orginated from Psychology – Educational Methodology which was established on September 3, 1999 by Decision No.459/QĐ-NNI by the Rector of Hanoi University of Agriculture. The head of department was Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, MSc. In March 2012, this department was divided into two departments: Educational Methodology and Psychology whose heads were Nguyen Cong Uoc MSc and Dang Thi Van PhD respectively. On June 24, 2022 by Decision No.3512/QĐ-HVN by the Rector of Vietnam National University of Agriculture, the two departments was merged into Department of Technology Teacher Education with the head Nguyen Cong Uoc MSc, and the deputy head Tran Thi Ha Nghia MSc.
During the last 24 years, the Department has been growing together with the development of the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages and Vietnam National University of Agriculture. The department has been taking over diverse tasks and the department’s relationship with agencies inside and outside the university is also expanding.
Training
The Department of Technology Teacher Education is curently in charge of two programs for undergraduate: Technology Teacher Education and Agricultural Technical Education.
The Department has trained more than 1000 graduates with a high graduationThe result is a motivation for lecturers to improve the quality of training.
